You place your order with Carryout Courier, when you call we'll ask you specific
questions for all the info we need and take your order. We have an order
processing fee and driver's tip is separate, we generally recommend 15-20%.
Your meal is normally delivered in 45-60 minutes. You can also place orders here on our website. Back To Top
A map of the York delivery area can be found here: Map of YORK. A map of the Lancaster delivery area can be found here: Map of LANCASTER
We have a $4.90 processing fee for both Lancaster & York deliveries. The Delivery Waiter gratuity is not included. They check and
pack your order just like a waiter or waitress. A tip of 10-15% is customary.
Your delivery waiter does not receive any portion of the processing fee. Your
generosity is greatly appreciated. Please note that with fluctuating gas and other prices our processing fee may
also fluctuate. Back To Top
Our delivery time is usually 45 minutes to an hour. Times could vary depending
on traffic, weather conditions, and restaurant preparation time. We do not
place the order with the restaurant until we have a driver available to pick up
your meal. This ensures the freshest possible food. Back To Top
Yes, we accept credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and
most bank debit cards). We only take checks from customers who have written a check to us in the past. We would look at the history on your account to determine if you are okay to
write a check. Back To Top
If your choice of payment method is credit card, Carryout Courier obtains an
'Authorization Approval' which indicates that the card is valid and usable. At
the end of the night, the actual charge is run including any gratuity if you
chose to add it to the card.
When you cancel an order after the 'Authorization' has been obtained, or if you
switch the order from credit card to cash, it can take up to 5-7 business days
for the 'Authorization' to be removed and for the funds to be available for
your use. If you check your statement online and see the word 'Authorization'
or 'Pending' that does not indicate an actual charge was run.
Carryout Courier does not have any control over this process and there is
nothing we can do to speed up the process. If you have any questions, please
contact your credit card company or bank. Back To Top
Yes, you may include the tip on the credit card and the driver will receive
their tip. We usually suggest 10-15%. Please remember, just like a waiter or waitress, the drivers check your orders
to confirm all items ordered are delivered.
You may order them over the internet by clicking on the Gift Certificate link at
the top of each page or by phone with a credit card or you may stop by our
office at 1301 N George St in York (we do not have a manned office in
Lancaster). Please have the recipient's address when ordering so we can confirm
they are in our delivery area. Gift certificates are sold in $10.00 increments
and may be sent to either the giver or the recipient and we are able to include
a note stating "happy birthday" or "get well soon" etc.

Mostly all items are available, as long as it is on their house menu and we have
the price for the item. There are some items that the restaurant may not offer
for delivery. These items may be specials, items that do not travel well or
those that are eat in only. If you check with the restaurant to see if an item
is available before you call Carryout Courier, make sure you tell them it is
for delivery through Carryout Courier and find out the price. We cannot deliver
meals ordered directly with the restaurant.

We take coupons only if they are from Carryout Courier.
We deal only with restaurants that have a good reputation for quality meals.
Your customer service representatives have eaten at most of the restaurants and
can help you with this issue. Back To Top
Your order is not placed with the restaurant until we know we have a driver
available. We try to time your order so the driver arrives at the restaurant as
the meals are coming out of the oven. The driver then checks your order to
ensure completeness, packs the meals in our heat insulated bags and then drives
to your location. We make every effort to deliver hot, quality meals to your
door, however certain items do not travel well and may need to be briefly
reheated. Thank you.
We always like to have applications on hand. You may apply online by clicking on
the Employment link in navigation above or, York applicants can come to our
office at 1301 N George St. during our business hours. For Lancaster
applicants, please call us at 717-399-3463 to set up an interview. Back To Top

and items available will almost always be correct. Restaurants listed in your menu book may no longer be available, the same with
certain items, and new restaurants may be added. You can still order from an

is no longer available or has changed. You can also call us (717) 846-8828 (York) or (717)399-3463 (Lancaster) and
